Elements and Principles of Art
The elements and principles project has the goal of being able to insert pictures that the students found and took for the separate categories. The different categories are meant for the students to be able to realize, understand, and appreciate the different types and styles of photography. Another main thing about this project was for the students to have the opportunity to take their own photos and try to take their own styles of photo with the categories.
There is a fine difference between elements and principles. The elements of art are more the basics such as shapes and shadows and simple colors. It's getting the very specific pictures that you see are paying attention to things that you usually wouldn't focus too much in a photo. The principles are more focused on the way you are setting yourself up to organize the art work, and it pays more attention to the small details that are very important for photos.
After working on this project I learned a lot about different styles and tactics to taking pictures. It has helped realize things in photography I have never seen before, and I think that will help immensely with the skills of my photo taking.
